Strategic communications leader for high-growth, mission-driven companies and nonprofits

I prepare executives and decision-makers for the moments that matter most — major partnership announcements, crisis communications and reputation management, and media interviews and high-visibility events that shape public perception.

The best communications begin with understanding business objectives and desired outcomes, then building the strategy to get there. I always start with the bigger picture and strategy, but I'm just as comfortable with rolling up my sleeves to do the tactical work.

I'm energized by mission-driven work and the challenge of communicating about topics that genuinely matter, whether that's climate change, emerging technology or public policy. My sweet spot is making complex, technical or scientific topics accessible and compelling for different audiences.

I've thrived during rapid organizational growth and know how to build alignment and drive stakeholder engagement on cross-functional teams with competing priorities. I have a knack for staying level-headed and providing calm, trusted counsel in sensitive, fast-moving situations.

I also care deeply about helping talented communicators and colleagues grow in their careers as both a manager and a mentor.

Outside of work, I serve on my city's Sustainability Commission and am on a sub-committee developing a program to help residents replace water-intensive turf grass with native plants. I'm a passionate gardener, an enthusiastic but beginner skier, and a hiker always planning my next adventure.
